Announcement: Suggested length of presentation for regular sessions is 20-22 minutes. (then, there are 3-5 minutes for QA).

ITC-Asia 2020 Presentation Guideline for Overseas Speakers:

Thank you for your participation as a speaker at the International Test Conference in Asia 2020. The ITC-Asia committee has decided that ITC-Asia 2020 will transit into a hybrid, that is both physical (on-site) and virtual (on-demand), conference. We will have in-person conference in Taipei and provide overseas attendees an on-demand conference afterwards.

As for our prestigious speakers, we welcome you to give a pre-recorded presentation and promptly answer questions at your presenting session during the conferencing dates Sept. 23 – Sept. 25, 2020. You can find the time slot for your presentation on Technical Program. Please note that the time zone for the schedule is UTC (GMT) +8.

Deadline:

All pre-recorded presentations should be uploaded by NO LATER THAN Thursday, Sept. 10, 2020.

Presentation Recording:

There are several video conferencing tools available to easily record a presentation. In this method, we highly recommend and encourage you to show your face via webcam and display your slides while you talk. You can use any software/tool as long as you get a good quality recording and your final file is in the MP4 format.

In case that you are lookig for a recording tool, here are some links to instructions on recording a meeting on common platforms:

File Specifications for Video Presentation:

MP4 files.
Aspect ratio 16:9
Maximum resolution 1080p (1920x1080 pixel).
File size should NOT exceed 800 MB (except for the Keynotes, here the file size limit is 1.6 GB).

Tips for Recording:

As quiet an area as possible.
Good headset with microphone close to mouth BUT away from direct line of mouth to reduce “pops”. Avoid using default built-in microphone on computer.
Do a test recording of a couple of minutes and review the sound and picture quality, MP4 format, and bit rate before recording the entire presentation. Make adjustments if needed.
Check your presentation. Your presentation video will be played on-site, so you have the opportunity to review and re-record your presentation to ensure a high quality presentation.

File Submission:

Once your presentation video and slide file are ready, please upload your file to any of your shareable cloud storage (Google drive, OneDrive, DropBox, etc.) and email the link to us at pobsadue@poetry-life.com
